I love this time of year when the air is cooler, the leaves are turning crimson and gold, and the weekends are filled with football games. I also love to decorate my home with Halloween and fall decor I have kept throughout the years.
Disclosure: This post contains tableware that was gifted to me from Chico’s. As always all opinions are purely my own.
We love cheering on our Clemson Tigers and Florida Gators. College football is HUGE in the south! If we’re not going to the game, we still have a tailgating party with our family and friends who love their ACC and SEC college teams. Everyone wears their college jerseys on game day. People live and breathe college football in the south.
I wrote about Chico's Home collection last summer when they were just introducing their tableware. When I saw the animal print tableware I knew I needed to add it to my fall collection!
Hosting a Football Party
I love hosting parties where the entertainment is a television. Simply an easy way to entertain a crowd. We love hosting football parties because it's really about football watching, cocktails, hot dogs, hamburgers, and lots of appetizers. Everyone pitches in and brings appetizers to the party. We supply the rest.
Grills are fired up and tubs of beer and wine are set up outside by the grills while the men amuse themselves before the kickoff. Football is all about finger food and yelling at the television.
Go to your local party store for most of your football decor and add fall flowers and decorations.
If your weather permits, add a beverage station outside next to the grilling area.
When hosting a football party, make it easy on yourself with store bought appetizers, simple recipes, and just enjoy the game! Okay it's halftime and I have to get the main dinner set up! I hope to see you again soon when I share more entertaining ideas and tabletop decor!
Thank you again Chico's for my fabulous dinnerware and entertaining essentials!
