Many of our clients move into homes or live in homes where the kitchen hasn't been touched in 20 years. Before we decide if the kitchen needs a complete renovation (facelift) we look at the quality of the cabinets and the layout of the kitchen. If the current kitchen fits the needs of our client and they just feel it is tired looking and only needs a few updates to give it a new life, we recommend a Botox Renovation™. This kitchen is a perfect example of our Botox Renovations™ for the Kitchen. Since we had to pay for everything in this showhouse kitchen, we had to keep the cost down and the custom cabinets were in excellent condition, we opted to repaint yellow and green cabinets. We also removed the low butcher block table. We wanted to keep the dark stained base cabinets because they warmed up the kitchen. We removed the wrought iron pot rack and installed metal fret orange drum shades. The old ceramic backsplash was replaced with a honed chevron marble . Since the cabinets were high gloss finished and the granite was polished, we kept the reflectiveness to a minimum. The yellow hood was given a dramatic update with the faux copper hood and distressed blue wood surround. Completely new kitchen at the fraction of the cost .
