Baby Boomer's Bathroom Renovation
My Baby Boomer clients wanted to update both bathrooms (his and her bathrooms) in their 1953 ranch to make them bright and colorful. Since they plan to live in this home forever, I wanted to make sure the bathrooms would adapt to their needs as they age.
Both bathrooms were renovated but this bathroom was featured in the 2015 June/July issue of Design NJ.
This bathroom is colorful and small (5'x9') but my client didn't want to make it bigger just brighter and more efficient for her needs.
Red is my client's favorite color, so this became the color scheme for her bathroom and she wanted it modern looking.
I incorporated Aging in Place design elements so that this bathroom would be ready if she ever needed to use a wheelchair or scooter.
Shortly after we completed the bathroom, my client had surgery on both knees. This bathroom was ready to go to work for her and she loves it!!
